ELN Street lives in a world where vision drives full force based on the foundation that we are so much more than what meets the eye. ELN was an accessories designer for several years in NYC and took some time off after her first child was born. Since then, she discovered the joy of seeing through the eyes of a child. Taking this new perspective and enjoying the creative freedom to draw, paint and create is a dream she is able to live out. More recently, she decided to focus on an idea she had in the back of her mind. This led her to write and illustrate her first children’s picture book, “The Pasta Chronicles: David Macaroni Finds Himself,” which is based on a confused pasta’s journey through the vast world of different pasta shapes as he tries to find himself. The story was inspired by ELN's own unique childhood, being first generation American. Picture it... Sicily... (just kidding!). ELN grew up in a modest home in New Jersey with 'straight-off-the-boat' Italian grandparents and parents, siblings and pets all under one roof. That led way to a very unlikely upbringing compared to many fellow peers, creating a comical yet, challenging discovery of self and where she fit in. She believes the best way to connect is through laughing and positivity. ELN's stories are meant to be lighthearted, comical and inspire all children and families, but particularly those from similar backgrounds seeking to find themselves.
